Guess What I Had For Dinner Last Night? July 31, 2004
This if for all of you non-Southern folks out there. I had fried alligator. My hubby and I tried a new Cajun restaurant for dinner last night, and it was yummy.
In non-food related news, yesterday was cycle day 1 for me, so I start birth control pills tomorrow. I get to go pick up all my IVF info on Monday including my protocol. I do know that I start Lupron on Aug. 19th, and my estimated date for ER is Sept. 15th and for ET is Sept. 20th. Wow. This is actually happening.

Wow, alligator! Interesting!
Congrats on starting your cycle!! I still need to go for some blood tests next week for my new doctor. I will start my IVF cycle in mid September.
Nina (one good egg)
Yes, alligator is good, but my favorite cajun food is boiled crawfish. Can you tell I grew up in Louisiana?
Nina, good luck on your IVF in September. I’ll be following along with you.
Alligator. Hmmm. Maybe that is the key ingredient for all of this to work. Hmmm.
Keep going at it, get all the alligator in that you can before September : )

Alligator… eat it before it bites you.
Right before this IVF cycle I did a lot of things to make things different. I didn’t want them the same as all our other cycles or IUI cycles. I rearranged our bedroom, the living room and my daughter’s room. I painted the dining room and entry way. I changed out our doorbell, our mailbox and house numbers. I just wanted change.
I’m assuming eating alligator is something different for you (as it would be for me). May this be the start of new change for you. I’m excited about your dates too!
