Shit November 24, 2004
My lining was only at 6 mm. It had to be 8. It had that lovely triple stripe thing going on, but it doesn’t matter because it was only 6. So, I have to continue on with the Estrace and Lupron and go back on Monday for another ultrasound. Best case scenario: my lining just needs some extra time and will be at least 8 mm by Monday, and my transfer will just be delayed five days. Worst case: I’m headed for the dreaded “C-word” ie. cancellation. I’m really not in the best of moods following this news, but hopefully my lining will get itself into gear and thicken up over the holiday weekend. It sure as hell better.

Da(* it! I am sorry to hear that. You just need the one thing to go right and it is lagging. I say some prayers that the lining looks better on Monday. Hurry up and wait.

Shit is right. Damn lining anyway. But listen, we’re not even going to consider the C-word right now, ok? For now, let’s just think thick, thick, THICK lining thoughts.

That sucks. Have they given you any reasonable explanation on why 6 mm is not enough? It just seems to be an arbitrtary number someone just thought of one day. I have never been cancelled, and 6 mm is pretty usual thickness to me, and I know for sure it is enough, at least for me.
Ohhh Amanda sweetie, I am so sorry you are having such a struggle.
I have not been able to read blogs and can barely get on to copy and paste to post so I am out of the loop a bit and was so disappointed to read your post. That sucks. Completely sucks. I will catch up on what has been going on with you when I get back to California. In the meantime, know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Hang in there. Deep breaths.
