My New Home Sweet Home March 23, 2005

Thanks to a massive amount of help from my sweet husband, Manana Banana now has a new home. I still have a little tweaking to do, but a ton of progress has been made in the past couple of days. When my brain is a little less fried I’ll get back to posting about my radioactive kitty and my frustrations with my beyond messed up cycle.

Galloping Cats- Yeah, one cool thing about WordPress is that you can add all kinds of cool plugins. The spell checker plugin is one of them. I’m now searching for a preview plugin that I like and that will work well, because it drives me crazy not to be able to preview comments.

Julianna- I didn’t intend to have the “About Me” function as a link. It’s just like in my Blogger blog where I can just put a quick blurb on the front page. Now, about importing posts and comments. It’s not easy, but it can be done. Start here.

Just a warning, though. My Blogger blog resisted that process, so my hubby had to find another way to import my posts. That I can’t even begin to explain. Oh, and if you haven’t figured out the whole FTP thing, you’re going to need to do that first. Hope that helps.

Jenn- Yeah, I’ve noticed that, too. Apparently the new version of WordPress is having troubles with regards to Bloglines feeds. I’ve read up on it, but it’s one of those things that makes my head swirl to fix, so I’m going to get my hubby to take a look at it at some point. I hope to get it working soon.
