2 Months March 10, 2007

Adam turns two months old today. It’s pretty hard to believe. Yesterday he had his check up at the pediatrician’s office, and things went well. He’s growing like a weed and is up to 11 lbs, 11 oz and 23 1/8th” long. That puts him at the 50th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height. Not too shabby.

It’s amazing to see how much he’s been changing. He likes to hold onto things more now (like my hair!) and he’s becoming quite the professional smiler. Dan even managed to catch one with the camera the other day.

I’m enjoying the heck out of him. He truly does make my heart smile. Now if he would just decide to sleep for more than a couple hours at a time…

Wow, he’s gorgeous and those cheeks (spoken from someone who endured that refrain most of her life growing up)! Could eat.them.up. with a spoon :-)

It is truly amazing how fast the grow, isn’t it?!

I commented on your blog a while back (maybe in Jan or Feb?) stating that you helped me not give up on my dream of becoming a mommy. After 5 failed IVF/ICSIs, a myomectomy, and ruptured ectopic, along with 2 other losses, I was really losing that hope. I’m sooo glad I didn’t give up. Although I have a LONG way to go. After 7 1/2 yrs of TTC, I found out today I am PG (”naturally”). It’s unbelievable to me. We had numerous issues with me and my DH has low count and low motility. This is truly amazing. I go back to the RE in 2 days for a repeat beta, but my u/s and beta today showed everything right on target. So tonight began the ritual of Heparin and PIO shots. It may have been a “natural” conception, but I guess the pgcy is anything but typical (-: Congrats again on your son and I pray that I will be able to hold this baby and watch him/her grow!

He is precious! Enjoy every minute - they fly by.

An “experienced” mom once told me that kids start sleeping through the night when they reach 15lbs - not sure if this is a fact, but our little guy weighed in at 15lbs and change at 14 weeks and presto - 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Good luck!
